Filling a Small GutzBusta Hay NetUpdated 2 hours ago
Our Small Hay Nets are well suited for stables, yards and floats, making it easy to manage portions and simplify feeding. They are designed to hold approximately 2 - 3 biscuits (flakes) of hay, or around 4kg / 8.8lbs, making them ideal for individual feeds, travel or smaller feeding setups.
Filling a Small GutzBusta Hay Net is quick and easy, once you’ve done it a couple of times, it can take less than 20 seconds!
Step 1: Simply lay the empty hay net with its mouth wide open on the ground next to the biscuits of hay you wish to put in the net.
Step 2: Pull the netting up around the hay until it is totally within the net. Pull the drawstring up tightly and your hay net is filled in less than 20 seconds.
Step 3: Lift the net and tuck in any loose or missed hay so everything sits neatly inside.
Step 4: Pull the drawstring tight to secure the hay.
You can then hang the hay net up (for shod horses or horses that paw a lot), or if you want to throw it on the ground (only for unshod and regularly trimmed horses) then simply tie a knot at the base of the net and then untie the existing knot at the end of the drawstring. This then leaves the drawstring loose and free and unable to get caught up in feet and legs.
That’s it! Your GutzBusta Hay Net is ready to go!
Step 1: Lay net beside biscuit

Step 2: Open topside of net and put biscuit into net

Step 3: Lift hay net up and push in any missed hay

Step 4: Pull drawstring tight and GutzBusta Hay Net is full

Voila! Hay Net secured
